Camsco manufactures both the glass and stainless Tekmar-Dohrmann type tubes in two sizes’ .25” and .50”. Our expansive in-house manufacturing capabilities provide flexibility for clients, including the ability to fuse glass frits, centerless grinding, glass blowing, grinding, lapping, annealing and polishing – all with the experience that comes with having manufactured well over one million thermal desorption tubes since 1991.
Standard Features
Camsco uses only the best raw materials. Our borosilicate-33 glass tube stock is Schott-Duran and we never use Simax tubing. All of the glass sorbent tubes that Camsco makes for Tekmar-Dohrmann instruments are centerless ground for an exacting outside diameter tolerance. Both glass and steel tubes have unique serial numbers and flow direction arrows. The steel used in these tubes is 316L stainless. Individual tube conditioning and glass storage vials are optional.
Custom Options
Camsco has several in house labeling options including ceramic barcodes, sequential numbers and color bands. Other options include high temp barcodes, laser fused color ceramic appliqués, custom OEM logos. We offer silanized, unsilanized and quartz glass wools. Conditioned tubes can be sealed and shipped with compression fittings, and air tight glass or plastic storage containers. We also offer three inert coating options for steel tubes: Restek, AMCX and Corning.
